“The Rainy Afternoon”

It was raining when Sinta got home from school. Her clothes were wet because she had forgotten to bring her umbrella in the morning. While she was changing her clothes, her mother was cooking soup in the kitchen.

Sinta had not eaten anything since lunch, and she had been feeling hungry for an hour. By the time the soup was ready, she had already finished her homework.

Then, her younger brother came home. He was crying because he had fallen in the mud while he was running from school. Sinta gave him her towel because he had been shaking from the cold.

Even though the weather was bad, they had spent the afternoon helping each other and feeling warm at home.
